Teams enter a high-pressure alternative trading market where wealth is built not through traditional stocks, but through unstable, speculative assets — digital tokens, gold reserves, resource credits, energy units, rare commodities and underground currencies. Prices fluctuate constantly, and every team must invest, react and protect their portfolio in real time.

The event opens with a rapid-fire Market Entry Quiz that narrows the field, before qualifying teams move into a live trading simulation. Organisers drop in news updates, financial shocks and policy announcements mid-round — a blackout crashes digital tokens, a geopolitical conflict sends gold soaring — and portfolios have to adapt on the spot.

Trading only happens inside active market windows; once “Market Closed” is called, no buying or selling until the next round. At the end, all holdings are converted to final market value, and the top three portfolios win.
